I often find that the best moments captures at a wedding are the unexpected and unplanned ones. When photographing a wedding my eyes are open at all times searching for those little hidden moments.

The Bride and Groom Celebrating with a Selfie.

The bridesmaids getting the bride ready for her personal photo shoot.

Walking in a windy parking lot from the car to the reception area and getting that last minute glance back at the camera.

Most of the time when the dancing is happening, the action is in the audience. Here is Father and Daughter dance with mother of the bride moved to tears in the background.

Getting a unique perspective of the happy couple dancing can be much more engaging then just a straight on shot.

Weddings are more than just formal shots and the Bride and Groom. I try to always remember the family as well as the unexpected moments happening in the background.
